How to Set Up Outbound Calling on Apple Devices (iOS)

1. Open the iOS App Store and search for "SessionTalk." 

2. Click "Get" to download and install the SessionTalk SIP Softphone application.

3. Once the app has been downloaded and installed, open the app. 

4. On the Create Account screen, tap the "i" icon next to Generic SIP.

5. Tap each field to fill out the account information. 

The Account Name  field can be whatever you want. Example: DialForward.

The Display Name field can be whatever you want. Example: John Doe

The UserName, Password, and Domain fields should be copied from your phone number settings within your DialForward account. For help with where to find that information, click here.

6. Next, tap "Advanced."

7. Fill in the Auth UserName field by copying from your phone number settings within your DialForward account. For help with where to find that information. Do NOT change any of the other fields.

8. Tap "Create Account" to return to the previous screen. 

9. Tap "Save."

You will then be brought to the accounts page and you should see your recently saved account.

10. Verify that your account was created successfully by tapping the "i" icon next to your account. 

You should see "Registered" in green letters.

11. At this point, your account is ready to use. To make an outbound call, tap the keypad icon at the bottom of the screen.

12. Using the keypad, enter the number you want to call. Then tap the green call button.

13. Once the call is placed, you can access the call controls, or hang up by pressing the red button at the bottom of the screen.
